taking a break from studying. hehe. i cant wait for my first paper tomorrow!!! hahaha. not that im prepared or anything. i just want it to come and go quickly. get done and over with so i can start to play!! hahaha.


although PROJECT PHUKET is only one and half week away, it seems so far away to me.. still got alot of obstacles before phuket. haha. but i cant wait to go to the beach man seriously. i need some good beaching time, some volleyball, some frisbee, some sun :), so relaxation, some sea sports and many many good times. hahaha. i need to get away. okok, im getting excited. yeah!


everyone is travelling! XR is in HK, Jodie and Kelvin going Korea(rahhh), Gina is going Prague(WTH??? how cool is that!), some going Malaysia, Bangkok, Japan, Taiwan, blah. Some of my block people going to KL, they asked me to go.. which is like exactly one week after Phuket. haha. of cuz im not going.. no money and KL is damn boring la. Yong said its a shopping paradise, i say the clothes there are either very malaysian-beng-lian style or its no difference from Singapore, in terms of price and brands. maybe only can get alot of DVDs lo. haha. so he suggested going for Malaysia roadtrip, i think we seriously miss roadtrips. haha. i dont really mind that though. just worried about the safety. i told him i dont wanna be robbed, raped or killed there. he say rob and kill quite true.. but rape cannot be. lol. ya anyway.. i would love to go on roadtrips again.. its fun! go cameron highlands eat strawberries! haha. owell.. see how it goes i guess.





i haven run for 5 days already!! rahhhhh. booooo. i feel weird. im going to run tomoro no matter what. even if its 3am and no one wanna run with me. haha. kidding la. but i will run for sure. i still had mac's for supper yesterday. girls just cannot take temptations. :(

wooo! i just watched the first episode! hehehe. couldnt resist the temptation and its just once a week.. wont hurt right. lol. i thought Elisa was damn weird and funny, she was lucky she is not out. right after that i went to watch the spoof version of project runway done by MadTv. damn funny. makes me miss US again, we watch these shows whenever we are home to entertain ourselves and its something you dont see in Singapore shows. and that asian guy is a familiar face! sometimes he acts as Jackie Chan, damn funny. useful to have a Chinese around sometimes. haha

sometimes.. you never get to realize how special anyone is or learn to appreciate him/her until you lose them, until you see what the others dont have but the one beside you has.
ayes.. i dont know how to blog about this matter in case i sound subjective. but everything is purely objective here.

guys. im not a sexist person, i dont like to generalise things, people or any other matter. but somehow i start to think.. WHAT ARE YOU GUYS THINKING?? this is where age doesnt matter comes in. i come to realize.. i have a bunch of mature and selfless 20 year old boy friends, of cuz, they do have their childish side, everyone has it. but still. even if you are 26 years old, it doesnt mean anything, it doesnt mean that you are more mature than a 20 year old kid.

KUDOS TO GIRLS. somehow i feel that we dont live in the bubbleworld that some people are living in, of cuz, not all girls think that way too. but
atleast not for those of you whom i always talk to and wonder why some people can behave this way, why they can think this way, why they wanna live in their own world. some things just confuse me. do other people really exist in their eyes?

ayes. girls if you think you wanna find an older bf cuz they are more mature than younger guys or guys of your own age. think again. again. and again. i used to think that way.. but not anymore i guess.

i guess we really gotta understand the fact that all kinds of people exist, we cant make everyone happy for sure. but.
give and take. compromise. be more sensitive. get out of the bubble. sometimes a little bit of them can make the people around you much happier. treat others like how you want them to treat you. owell nothing is perfect la. it would be nice if everyone can start to appreciate the people around you, the every little thing they do for you, so small that you might not even notice it but you have been taking it for granted.
dont wait till everyone leaves you and you realize all the shit you have done, or rather all the shit you didnt do.

goodbye semester 3...

decided to blog while waiting for brother bear to finish his looong shower in the bathroom.

today is officially the last day of school! which means if im on a 3 year course, which most probably would be the case, i have already spent half of my university life. HOW SAD. hai... how i wish i can do honors.. can play for one more year la. haha. owell, on the other side, i can do what i plan to do after i graduate, before i really start on my career.

owell.. i just realize last year after 1st sem, i started working 2 days after exams ended. this year, i will leave singapore one day after exams ended for PROJECT PHUKET. thats a bad change. never earn money but spend so much money. tsk. haha. project phuket is doing very well! i will probably get A+ which will pull down my cap cuz i have been researching on the project instead of studying.

happy wednesday

last wednesday was happy wednesday! been waiting since sunday for the day to come, to celebrate the end of IT1004 project and GEK Test, which are both excuses to MAMBO. haha.

yeah! just thinking of last wednesday now makes me happy. cuz i was really happy that i can play and relax,even when there were many unforseen circumstances. shop and dinner in town w/o thinking of work temporily. mamamia.

haha! got a last minute scarf, a head band supposedly, to match with the black tube. nice right! hehe. kenneth made me pose like the URS model in town.. hurhur.

it was the eve of Deepavali. so it was bloody packed! rah. and i had to pay cover charge for the 1st time. :( we queued for an hour or so.. still haven get in. luckily kenneth's friend brought us in, cut the line, save the time, the sweat, the tired legs. :)

hai. have to start studying for finals. uni life is a repeated and rapid vicious cycle. haha. i cant wait for exams to end. all the activities that i wanna do after finals, and mambo again makes me wanna skip these 3 weeks right now!!

since everyone is counting down to exams.. i think i should too. haha let me count. 17 days to my first paper! hurhur. haven start studying, still slacking, feeling sian, feel like sleeping, feel like playing. owell.

anyway.. if any of you have friends working at new urban male (NUM) please tell me!!! i saw their signature tank top with 'netball' on it and it was love at first sight. but it costs $69.90. $70 for a singlet which i haven think of how i can wear it, or rather i cant think of how often i can wear it to make the money worth while. so maybe staff discount is the better idea? bryant's friend stopped working. damn! i will get it if im working..

talking about working. december hols are coming. other than trainings, i wanna work! part time at least, if theres any lobangs tell me too.. waitress, sales, tuition... i dont mind them. i wanna earn some money. haha, it feels weird and i feel useless not working since i came back from US. need to work to prepare for summer 2008. HAHAHA. travel and travel 2008 this time. i wanna go Perth, Taiwan, the Philippines, Bangkok... yaya.. got money then say.

but this sem seems so fast.. i have less time for myself i think. there are friends whom i haven met at all yet since i came back. probably cuz of hall. hurhur. at least hall is making me exercise! i like! haha. netball and running.. somehow im still stuck to these 2 sports afterall. i guess its good that i join these 2, cuz i think if i join any other sports, i might have to drag myself to trainings.

sometimes i think about why do i want to maintain my blog. ha. sometimes i feel that its a waste of time? im seeing no point. can anyone enlighten me? is it more of keeping you updated or keeping you entertained? hmm.. owell, i have been feeling weird recently. haha. i think im weird. but then.. everyone is weird! ha.

i just got Jay's album! sooo happy! hahaha. he made my day man.. he is going to accompany me through the studying period. lol. so nice of him right. hahaha. anyway i didnt know his album came out or was coming out till a few days ago. becoming a lousier fan already, i didnt even know there is a presale. how can! i still rmb skipping class in JC to go buy his concert tix. haha.
talking about concert.. sold out for both nights!!! dammit.... im damn sad. been waiting for him to come back since the previous one. now that he is coming back i cant go! how? i really really wanna go man.. demand is definitely many many many moremoremore than supply. imagine how sad i will be on the 18th and 19th of Jan. sigh.. anyone can make me happy?

Happy 23rd Birthday, Terence!

Last friday was Terence's birthday. so we meet up on saturday for dinner at Oosh, Dempsey Road. first time at dempsey. ambience is good i must say, very atas and have live bands and all.. nice place to chill. haha.

in terms of service, i think it is soso for oosh. i only like the ambience.

-the waiters didnt sound like they know the menu well when they were taking our orders.

-they brought the birthday cake out with the candles UNLIGHTED. erm... then whats the point of asking you to bring the cake out and light IN FRONT of the birthday boy, when we wanna surprise?

errr.. .....

-they didnt provide us with plates and forks/spoons to eat with the cake. we had to ask.

damn lousy for a atas place like this.. hurhur.

dinner was quite nice la, i had some cream pasta.. 1st time eating a cream pasta on my own, usually i hate cream pasta. somehow i just felt like i could eat it on my own without feeling gross that day. and i really did! Strawberry Bellini wasnt too bad too.. :)

after dinner we went over to the other area to watch the Man U and Arsenal match. look at them after Arsenal scored at the 91st min? they got damn emo after the goal. lol

meiling only came at 10+, for one hour plus before she leaves for last bus.. owell. haha.

it was a good and fun dinner, with everyone present. haha. too bad terence had something on after that. :( cya tomoro then. MUAHAHAHA.

Friday was our commando's ORD parade! haha. time flies like no one's biz man. so.. I SKIPPED MY LECTURE AND TRAVELLED ALL THE WAY TO CHANGI, HENDON CAMP to watch them. haha. im very happy for them. :)

Saw my Primary school and secondary school friend. but didnt manage to say hi to them. they are both quite zhai, Kenneth, my primary school friend got Letter of Appreciation. Lemin, my secondary school classmate was the one holding a flag, hehe, i dunno whats that called. lol.
and our very own Joshua got Letter of Appreciation too! SOOO happy and proud of him!! :) all your efforts and hard work all these while was worth it dear, and you pulled it through! congrats! :D ehh black good job also la.. hehe, we appreciate you can already lo, right?

it was a happy day! it was quite touching for me as well, i think i will cry a thousand buckets if my son was there, and probably a hundred if my boyfriend was there. haha. owell.. knowing what they went through.. im just really glad that its finally over for them. im sure you guys have grown much stronger during this 1+ years! time to think of what you wanna do next, do what you wanna do, get a job, think about studies blah... meanwhile, slack for awhile first la! hehe. after the parade we went to newton to eat a not so nice meal. unsatisfied dinner. :( and i slept on the bus all the way home.

on a sidenote..
i wanted to pick up my luandry to put it in dryer just now.. but i couldnt find my laundry in the washer! i was panicking for a few minutes then i realized the person who used the washer i was using put it in the dryer for me. damn nice right!
then after one hour plus i went to pick up my dry clothes.. went back my room and realize one clothing was missing. i wash only my dirty exercising clothes in hall, and the one missing is quite chui so i didnt care too much, thinking that the person probably washed it with her/her clothes. maybe i can get it tomoro. but then! when i wanted to wash up just now, it was hanging on my door! wah lao.. how nice can. i didnt close my door totally so i wonder why the person dont wanna say hi or claim some credit. haha. NICE right. BUT. how the person know the clothes are mine??? im thinking.. hahaha. the only reasoning i can come out with is that the person always see me in sports attire? but why dont wanna say hi? anyway, many thanks to the laundry person. :)

Arts Open 07 Captain's Ball

After last year's defeat at semi finals.. team HOW NOW BROWN COW has decided to come back again.. but! only 3 members from last year team remained. one(shimin) almost ps. and the other two(kenneth and me) slept for two hours after 8 hours of ass hurting night cycling. i tried so hard to find players.. damn sad la. no one wanna help me, some say no time, some lazy, some injured leg, some got project meeting.. thank god i saw aaron at the bus stop and hes damn zhai. i registered this years team as HNBC, but somehow i dont know why we just call oursleves team JAR BA LANG. and i think we are damn zhai! more powerful in terms of skills and team spirit. :)


mr lin anhong who ps us cuz he says hes refreeing other matches, lazy to run, dont wanna sweat, even in times when we really need players. we refused to take photos with him.

team friendly running for 3rd and 4th placing. YEAH!! WE GOT 4TH...................... again.. hurhur. but it was a good and friendly game. i lost happily. better than the semi final round. could have won i guess.. but owell. Ridiculous Rule: one POINT goes to the opponent team if there is any contact or aggression. yes a POINT, not change of possesion. and sometimes their aggression isnt really aggression. its inevitable to bump into others when you are running on court. dumb ass. opponent team 'scored' a few points banking on the fact that we are 'aggressive'. whats more, the other team is from Arts also, and i know most of them. yet they were shouting like crazy when they THINK there is contact. even the guys.. luckily our guys are not like that man. no friends on court? ha. someone even shouted at me cuz she says i stand too close to her while marking her. errrr... i wasnt even touching her? i was freaking angry that day cuz of the game. some people are just rahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. lol. :D i still like my team. boo! thanks for literally burning your saturdayswith me.. hehe

went for dinner in town after that. anyway thats my first pasta ever since i came back from US!! hahaha.
