taipei day 4 to six!

DAY FOUR, FRIDAY

started with 天外天 steamboat a few streets down XMD. we get to choose 2 soup flavours for each pot. not only its buffet, the have free flow of HAAGEN DAZ ICECREAM, desserts, and all sorts of drinks. just the ice cream itself is worth it man. but surprisingly that was the first buffet which i didnt felt full. probably cuz the mala soup is really hot! considering i can take spicy stuff quite well. and the sauce jialin took was omy....... my face was literally numb 5 minutes after trying. lol

after lunch we decided to go find jay chou' shop at about 5 mrt stops away from XMD. we found it and its just a Nike store selling clothes and shoes. shop name is called PHANTAC. haha. just for the sake of photo taking.

we stopped by at this other shop along the street and everyone except kenneth, got something! haha. even terence got a pair of jeans man. his first buy for the trip. haha. while the others are trying clothes i played with the gay doggy in the shop. but i forgot his name. :( haha. taiwanese love dogs! they are everywhere and sooo cute. :D

next we head down to 淡水 fisherman's wharf where the lover's bridge is. just to sight see and watch sunset. if only singapore has such nice place, and weather. sea, sunset and mountains. awww.

o and its a blue day cuz everyone wore something blue coincidentally! haha. it was for me jialin and terence. then we made kenneth wear blue and called the couple to wear blue too.

must go shihlin night market after that. thats the famous huge fried chicken in the picture. it was super packed cuz it was a friday! lotsa shopping and eating. i think we needed more time to really walk every part of it but it was kinda late.. haha.

day 5, saturday.
it was lah and christie's last day cuz they have wedding dinner to go on sunday. :( but we went to 便所 for lunch!! so.. we sat on toilet bowls, ate with mini toilet bowls, drank with urinals and had ice cream that looks like shit. hahaha. so cute.

o and we had our xmas exchange over there! awesome. haha. it was hard to get stuff for each other cuz we are like maybe 22/6 together. ahaha.i managed to get funny boxers for LAH in his presence. i just lied i was buying for my brother. Jialin brought a mickey mouse towel for me! heh. i came back with a few more mickey stuff. haha. and some guys just didnt have the heart to buy present! terence kinda forgot who hes buying for. -.-

for hot spring!!! hehehe. awesome! the guys were lousy cuz they couldnt take the heat as well as the girls could. they loved the pussy pool. heh.

then.. we met my taiwanese friend Jason and his friends. they brought us to 杨明山 to have dinner. ok first. we met our first crazy taxi ride up the mountain. the road was narrow with one lane for each direction, many turns, and we were going UP a mountain. not only he was driving super fast, he overtook any vehicle he think he could on a 2 lane road. -.- i think for that almost half an hour ride up, terence, who was sitting infront believed in God. hahahhaha.

it was so freezing cold up there but we just kept standing at the balcony taking photos. its so damn pretty! nice meeting the taiwanese there! :)

before headinｇ to club at ROOM 18 ，we went back xmd to shop and walk around. these 2 are the employees for the shop just next to our hotel! hahaha. kinda made friends with them, i just stayed in the shop and chatted with them while waiting for the rest.

just to show off my new shoes i got from a shop 10sec away from our hotel. hahaha. luckily we spotted the shop and i loveee the shoe. hhehe.

o and on our way to room 18 we had our 2nd encounter with crazy taxi. this time at 140km/h. and i think uncle knows we were going to club. so he played rnb music. hahahaha! kenneth's turn took the front seat, which caused lj ->cb. hahahah. interestin experience with crazy taxis! haha so fun.

then to room 18. one of the hottest club around too. the queue was super long! when its almost our turn, we realized we dont have to queue actually cuz its just for reservations. -.- owells. o, the crowd is freaking good! rahhh how i wish singaporeans are like them. dress better, style your hair!! makes so much difference. the guy in red , 大毛　is damnn hot! hahaha. everyone thought so. i just kept going to him to let him make drinks for us. hahaha. if only singaporeans can be less boring and be daring to dress up.

haha. this time around. i remembered everything. it was more for people watching. heh.

day 6, sunday, last day !! :(

and our last meal in ximending.. back to our first meal, ah zhong mian xian. haha.
we had to leave ard 330 so we just did some last minute shopping and i found some great buys at the bazaar opposite XMD! haha. o last day was somehow, hot. all of us didnt wear jacket. haha. but when i step out of changi airport at 1130pm, that was HOT.


okok thats thats. i LOVEEEEEE TAIWAN and i still miss taiwan now!! no doubt i will go back again. thanks lacoste for the wonderful trip. forever 国光小朋友. hopefully we can still get to travel together again. <3<3 xoxoxoxo.

and its the last day of 2008! i dont know what to say. i just dont feel like thinking of what will happen next year. alot of changes i know. but for now, i dont wanna accept it. haha.

taipei days 1-3

yeah i better blog abt taipei before i become too lazy or before the new year comes. hahaha. taipei rocks.
DAY ONE, TUESDAY 16/12

welcome to, TAIWAN!! VVVVV

right outside our good ground hotel. haha. cheap lou pok but right smack IN ximending. location is great.

阿毛！this restaurant at ximending is named after this dog. she just laze outside the shop whole day.

our first meal right after we touched down and settled in our hotel. 阿宗面腺(last word is wrong) is damn awesome! omy. we stand outside the store to eat. no tables or chairs.

after shopping hanging around xmd for awhile. we went ktv! woo

they have such things. lol. and scoring system too. terence did well with >80 marks each song he sung. but kenneth.. haha. 77? which is quite bad for that scoring system.

damn cheap. 2sgd per can? tsktsk

anyhow take my boots and wear. lol. but quite funny. my bro did that too. hahaha.

DAY TWO, WEDNESDAY 17/12

the must do every morning. to take photo of myself. hahahah. we had fun dressing up. wearing things we cant wear in singapore. sigh. my face is horrible.

breakie at xmd! simple breakfast with milk tea and egg roll with pork floss.

taipei 101. nicee. nicer than singapore's at least. can see mountains.

taipei 101 is kinda like our paragon. so nothing much to do there.

after 101 we went wu fen pu. not much photos. or no photos cuz its all shopping. its kinda like a wholesale area for the clothes. didnt get much clothes cuz its winter. sads. nice but you know its pointless to get them. :(

omy. probably one of the best meal in taiwan! we didnt expect it to be this nice and we were kinda rushing to go club. so we thought of having a quick and simple meal. which turned out to be the best meal over there. the rice coupled with the gravy is.... f-awesome! we kept thinking abt the rice even days after that. and harping on the fact that we only had one bowl each. awwww...... mamamia. :)

clubbing at LUXY, apparently the hottest club in taipei. wednesday was ladies night also but we ended up opening bottle to have a table to ourselves. haha. music was ok. people were quite dead. not as hot as what terence saw last time. but we had fun with ourselves as usual. haha. met James over there, the world is really small!

we were treated a round of beer by the club! weee.

DAY 3, THURSDAY 18/12

good afternoon! haha. we slept till 11+ 12 the next day. kinda late and terence had a bad hangover.

had lunch at xmd with huge dumplings and look at that mickey! so cute.

then we took train to 淡水, which is about an hour away. by the time we reach there we can only go to the night market. no time to go jiufen cuz it closes around 7. o btw sunsets around 5+pm there.

甜不辣。which we thought is just a taiwan version of yong tau foo. haha.

so cool to find my name, minus the yun's cao zhi tou! considering its kinda rare.

just eat whatever we like..

i forgot whats this called. its red bean inside. and its damn nice!!

omg. look at that. after all the eating at night market we went to this yam dessert shop. damn cheap and the portion is damn big la. worth the money and its nice!

kenneth just dont know how to eat properly. damn messy.

its nice to go back room and watch tv. cuz we get to watch funny old skool hong kong movies! stephen chow and all. and the original 如花。hahaha. 岂有此理! and of cuz not forgeting the 'porn' channels they have!! omygod. super funny.

one is called 'dancing queen'- girls dressed suggestively, show their panties and, you're right.. dance and only dance. haha. one girl even has a bruise one her butt cheek.

another one is an advertising channel. ad for viagra kinda pill, targetting the 色伯伯s。omy the way the advertisement is made is freaking funny i swear. i was ROBedL.

im still missing taiwan. the food, people, weather. rah. super love!
