Sheares Hall Night Cycling!

Last friday was hall's night cycling.. started quite late! my group set off at around 12am i think.. wasted my time waiting. tsk.

while waiting to set off we took the time to take photos.. block girls in my group, emily and zhou chu. i realize im damn short in the photo.. but anyway its cuz they are tall la.. esp emily. haha.

after a bloody upslope.. and we went up the slope cuz we hor land!!! rahh.. my ic ah. CMI. and i heard it wasnt as fun as last year's.. this years route was killer cuz of the slopes.. :( im ok with that as long as we dont get lost. but obviously we did. and only one toilet break the whole night.

o anyway whats so special about night cycling was that we used tandem bike! so i partnered with ben. the first bike we got was damn chui!!! there was something wrong with the gear, no matter how hard we cycled, the bike will just go damn slowly.. imagine going upslope with that damn bike.. we almost died, esp ben i think.. thank god im damn light la. HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH. that was obviously a joke. -.- ( trying hard to type this emoticon out, you get my point. lol)

we also went to geylang for tao huay, esplanade, clark quay and then finally ECP. my ass was HURTING LIKE HELL. i dread sitting on that damn bike every minute. i hate stopping, and we have to stop frequently to wait for the rest of the group, cuz everytime we stop it hurts, everytime we start riding it hurtssss. haha. so everytime we see red light ahead we will ride damn slowly hoping that it will turn green light so that we dont have to stop.

i dunno why but its not as tiring as the last night cycling i went last sem, Bike Quest. i was totally shagged out that time at 7am with no mood to do anything at all. this time we reached hall at around 9am. shower.. slept with wet hair cuz i had to wake up at 11am for Arts Open, captain's ball...

Sentosa!!

went to sentosa on saturday! happy! realized that actually i have become fairer these 2 months. its good to get some tan! and weather was surprisingly good that day.. no rain!

we went to siloso beach. haha.. quite alot of people but not many hot guys. lol :p

josh and tai had a friendly match with a chinese and ang moh guy. and our boys were trashed badly. :( those 2 are actually quite zai without a doubt. owell, fun la.. go around and trash people.

anyway im happy that i finally get to play volleyball! dont miss sentosa beach but rather the playing of ball and frisbee.. never touch a vball for thousand years since i left for US, somehow they dont play beach volleyball there although beaches are everywhere. and i learnt how to hit the ball with my palm that day! yeah.. could have spike if i can jump higher or if my hands were longer. lol!

after sentosa we went to vivo city, tai drove, yeah, had carl's jr then we went to the rooftop and play saboteur, talk cock and discuss about our year end trip. went to SOMEONE's house after that and watched 20mins of rush hour 3. :( i wanna go back and play volleyball again!!!

i thought it was a shot gun or something. lol.. i guess she and Anthony just felt like its TIME. haha. yeah! haha. it will be next december.. slightly more than one year from, but i think it will come soon! i have known her since primary school and we have been best friends since secondary school. been through quite abit of ups and downs.. relationship finally become strong and steady around our secondary 3 period. hmm.. its amazing how we are who we are even though i went to JC, she went to poly, now im in uni, she is working, we never drifted apart though we made new friends or cuz we meet less often. :) 9 years of love! it will be ten years next year. haha! anyway guess what... i will be her bridesmaid!!!! muahahahaha. damn fun la!

MUAHAHAHA. so maybe its a good investment to give her a bigger one for wedding. economics has taught me to reduce present consumption to increase current investment so that future consumption will increase. see! take economics! ya right~~ i was lying. thats common sense and economics is killing me right now. :(

just hope they have made the right choice cuz she will only be 21 by then, still DAMN young. since she said she has thought about it carefully, then it should be fine.. since i know Anthony personally and he is quite nice. i have been studying for the past 2 weeks+.. the furthest i went was Vivo City for 3 hours, other than studying i exercise eat sleep study and and once in awhile chat with neighbours. or maybe i didnt study that much, just that i have been in hall TRYING to study. the thing is, most of the people are not having 4 mid terms in a row, so when i was studying, everyone else was slacking, which is why i think i felt sian studying for the 1st time. but mid terms was quite chui.



owell.. my tests ended on wednesday.. sooo.. haha. just go lo since the rest dont mind going. terence ps at the last hour, and lah was thinking for like a thousand years and went finally.


im not going to get tricked by doing a spastic shot and get the photos posted on other's blog or msn display pic. so smile!!! haha.





we saw maisha there! fellow C-towner and my netball capt. :) saw alloot of people that day. i think it adds on to the fun! lol. full of SMU ppl cuz its their one week break.

Houston, Texas!

haha one last post for US, dont complain, alot of singapore post already! Houston, my first stop for the 12 days of travelling/getting FATTT. haha. i left the rest to take flight alone to Texas to meet Nicholas while the rest drive up to Key West. its been sooo long since we saw each other! 2 years plus already..

DAY ONE

Chinatown Rocks! Florida should have Chinatown and im sure it will be damn busy! my first decent chinese meal for 3 months. ok i forgot what i had but its good and cheap.. went with Nicholas and his friend, Nigel for my first meal in Texas!

made my own yohgurt, added any toppings i want.. drink smoothies.. they are damn nice! and you should know why getting fat starts here.. haha.

had dinner at House of Pies, mamamia! it is damnnnn nice i swearrrrrrr.. look at those pies. they are really good! i think i ate them everyday.. wanted to buy one whole pie for the rest when i meet them at NJ, but the pies must be kept in the fridge. so i bought some other Texas Pecan Pie for them which was quite nice also, must thank them for waiting for me at the airport for 1 hour plus.. :)

DAY TWO
we went to musuems! went to the butterfly one and the frogs one. its quite interesting!! haha.


they have looooaddds of different kind of weird frogs there! hahaha. some was so small we couldnt find them. interesting one!

okkk this is where we will walk around this area with buterflies flying around. and of all things, insects is my worst fear i swear.. i know they look pretty and they are harmless.. but i cant help it.. hurhur. since its already paid, have to walk right! scary!

after that we went to sightsee, kinda. cuz i saw some buildings which i found them quite nice. so we stop by some and took photos!


Then.. we went to the state park. Nigel said that we could catch very nice night sky there, can see many stars.. soooo we went there!


those are spiders.. alot of them. ok, thats that for the photos of the park. because.......... when we got there for the 1st ten minutes, i got bitten by something on my toe. i thought it was no big deal, it was just red and itchy and a little painful. so we drove around the park, trying to find some nice place to have our dinner.. but we ended up eating in the car cuz there was alot of insects outside. haha. after dinner.. hai. i started to get rashes and itchy ALL OVER MY BODY. wtf. i though i was going to die i swear. imagine one mosquito bite on your thigh, and alot of them, soo many that they all form one freaking huge patch. yes thats what happened to me, and its really all over my body, my legs, back, neck, hands, body and even face. omg. nene was driving like how fast to the pharmacy.. and there was so many jams la! damn bad damn bad. then we finally rushed to the pharmacy and get some medicine. i took it, we went home, i slept.. for 15 hours i think? my average 4 days worth of sleep in US. thank god they were all gone the next day.. what an experience man. damn bug. spoilt our night and i wasted so much time sleeping. TSK.

DAY THREE
last day! :( we started the day late.. wanted to do so many things.. like go fishing, go to the beach blah.. but they are all at least one hour drive away.. and i will leave the following morning for NJ around 3+am. in the end we decided to just go to the mall and chill, im sick of rushing from one place to another! we always do that to make full use of the time there. and i thought we could go to Austin, but in the end we didnt cuz of some reasons.. so sad cuz i heard it a nice city! owell..

bubbletea!! hehehehehe. 1st decent bubbletea and its quite authentic! luxury!
skating ring in Galleria! the biggest mall in somwhere. either in the west or something. but its quite an atas place.. just went to check it out. i belong to the factory outlets. haha! and houston dont really have factory outlets, like those in orlando. which is good for me at that time. haha.

ate at chinatown again.. this penang cafe, had curry rice and we ordered rojak! it was good! haha. and the cafe was playing jay chou's songs.. damn cool. chinese songs were luxury too. too much of beautiful girls, home and party like a rockstar. haha

my last pie probably in my whole life.. look at that. its some cheesecake with strawberry pie.

theres a saying 'everything is big in texas'. rah.

owell.. thats that for Houston! gotta thank nene and his family for hosting me for the 3 days! :) and nene for bringing me around, it was really good to see you again and really talk to you face to face, what web cam?!!!

anyway.. i just brushed my teeth at 4pm. HAHAHA HOW SHIOK IS THAT.
